VES Students to sing at St. Mark's Basilica in Venice

During the first week of Spring Break members of the VES Vocal Ensemble and Glee Club will be heading to Italy to perform and tour the country as a part of the Spoleto program that the school has participated in the last several years.  Venice will be the first stop and while there the group will have the honor of performing at a Mass at St. Mark’s Basilica.  Debbie Grabeel, Director of the Vocal Ensemble and Glee Club, noted the high honor of the invitation and how excited they were to perform there.  Then they are off to Florence, Sienna, Pisa, Spoleto, Trevi, Assisi, and finally Rome.  While in Spoleto they will perform for one or two schools.  More details to come after the holidays.
