VES has entered a new phase in its long history by the selection of a headmaster from within the ranks of its alumni body.  The school prides itself on being "100 Ways a Family," and now the Search Committee has selected one of its own to be the head of the family.  Tommy and Mary Stuart Battle will be just the couple to become the "parents" of this diverseClick to hear from the Headmaster elect family.  Tommy knows us well since he has seen the school from every angle - student, faculty, and board member.  I wholeheartedly support him and his family as they take on this new and exciting challenge for themselves and VES.
