Founder's Day at VES is always a day of celebration and the 2009 ceremony was no exception.  Three outstanding alumni were recognized for their contributions.  Phil Garmey was also recognized with a special award from the Board of Trustees.  The Board voted to remove the "interim" tag from Mr. Garmey's year as Headmaster and officially recognize him as a VES Headmaster.  His picture will be hung in Jett Hall beside the portrait of Mr. Charles Zimmer.
